Didpio wins CSR awards in Malaysia
OceanaGold garnered three awards at the 9th Annual Global CSR Summit and Global Good Governance Awards that took place in March 2017 at a gala event held in Malaysia.
This prestigious event had over 145 entries from various countries worldwide with a total of 38 companies winning awards across 16 categories.

General Manager of Didipio, Mr David Way, said it was a proud moment for him and all of the OceanaGold Philippines team to have the company and operation recognised as the partner, employer and mining company of choice.

Presentations from influential speakers were also a highlight of the event, including a keynote address by Chandran Nair, founder of Global Institute for Tomorrow and author of “Consumptionomics: Asia’s Role in Reshaping Capitalism and Saving the Planet”. Presentation was also given by esteemed Professor Ray Wills, Managing Director of Future Smart. Prof. Wills is a sustainability expert who is listed as one of the Top 100 Global Leaders in Sustainability and has been named one of the 100 Global Influencers in Social Media on Climate Change and Energy. The Summit and Awards is now in its ninth year, becoming the longest reigning event for corporate social responsibility and corporate governance. |
